Highlights from inebriatedpriest.

Live channel Loads once the site is on a real domain. Twitch requires the embed URL to declare a matching parent, so it stays blank when opened from a local file.

Nothing here calls Twitch. The page reads a cached file that sync_twitch.py writes when you run it. Add highlights, run the sync once, rebuild — that's a handful of API calls a month instead of one per visitor, and the page still renders if Twitch is down. The tradeoff is that new highlights don't appear until you sync.
